HEH love the meta jokes in homestuck
are they gonna try to retcon caliborn out of existence with a literal plot hole god. fucking bless. good comic
the one issue here is that it makes it nearly impossible to read homestuck AFTER the retconning occurs
but it is a fucking brilliant idea
well, we will see what happens in the long run. andrew has said a lot that he writes the comic for archival reading, but often throws in jokes that only serial readers will really get and in hindsight archival readers will be like “where the heck did that come from” and i think that is one of those cases. im interested to see if he keeps those edits in or not????

Well to us this update was “oh my gosh he went in and added those arms to all the old pages - that’s so meta!”
To archival readers though it’s going to be more like “oh my gosh I noticed a few of those arms before and wondered what the heck was going on! Now I know!”
